Merry Christmas.

Just some little facts about our family as the year ends.

John-Luke (almost 18 mos.) is the happiest and snuggliest little boy to have around.  I constantly get comments on how happy and joyful he is and it is true.  Johnny-lu loves to copy everything that James does and he has no fear.  He is also very ticklish and is totally a daddy's boy (he won't have anything to do with me when Brian is around).  He loves music, snuggling, singing, dancing and eating.  He also loves going to bed when he is tired (dream child)!  We are so lucky that he chose to come join our family.

James (3 years old. Already?) is such a lively and energetic kid.  He loves music and physical activities.  He goes to jardin d'enfants (preschool) 3 mornings a week and loves it.  He also participates in a mommy-son gymnastics class that he loves as well.  James enjoys reading, making messes, playing with his daddy and brother. James also spent 6 days in the hospital this Summer with Salmonella in his blood but is all recovered. He is (mostly) potty trained day and night (better at night than during the day).  And he is picking up some French at school and church.  He can sing "Je Suis Enfant de Dieu" (I am a child of God) in french beautifully.

Rebecca has had a year full of school studies and baby boys.  She just graduated with her Bachelors from TWU with a 3.773 GPA!  She is currently a ward missionary and the nursery leader.  She has made great progress in the French language and is now proficient enough for most situations.

Brian is still enjoying his work and has received recognition for helping to win a large client for the Geneva office where he works.  He is currently the ward mission leader.  He loves his weekends when he can spend time with the family.

Together we all enjoyed traveling and have visited Germany, Austria and Hungary this year.  We also took a parent/child music class together on Saturday mornings which the boys loved!  We are still enjoying our little European adventure.  This has been a good year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.  We hope that you are well and that 2011 will bring you much joy, prosperity and health.

TOOT TOOT!!! (The last one).

I just wanted to post that I have finished this semester and I got 2 A's again.  I also graduated!!!  I am done so I will no longer be complaining about how busy I am with my studies (at least until I decide to go back for a masters).
Also, I wanted to say that I finished with a 3.773 GPA (grade point average)!!!  For those of you not familiar with the U.S. grading system you should know that 3.773 is very good!
I am tooting my own horn for the last time and I must say that I am very proud of myself.  If anyone else is thinking about going back to school I would highly recommend it!  (Even if you have kids).
I did plan on going to my graduation ceremony so I could post some pictures but we were delayed in Geneva and missed our connection in London so we got to Dallas as the ceremony was ending.  (Sad hu?)  At least we made it here in one piece.  I will start updating after I get home from the states in January.  Merry Christmas!  Happy New Year! (Happy other holidays that you all may celebrate as well).

Too busy!

I know I have been slow to update.  I have been super busy.  School will be getting over in a couple of weeks.  And I mean  OVER, as in I will finally graduate!  I also started a new blog to keep a journal of a diet that I recently did.  I just couldn't deal with too many things at once so this blog went on the back burner while I was on my diet.  It was a huge success and I am very proud of myself.  If you would like to read about the diet then you can check it out here.  I will hopefully get back to posting next week when I have a minute but for now I have homework to catch up on.  Until then.
Oh, and I forgot to toot my own horn but I did get 2 A's for my Summer semester despite all the craziness that was happening at the time.  I'm hoping for the same this semester but I must admit I am not nearly as into this semester as in the past.  I just want it to be over.  Oh, and I will be walking in the graduation ceremony on December 17 in Denton, TX (we fly in the night before).  Yipee for me!

"To be angry is to yield to the influence of Satan. No one can make us angry. It is our choice. If we desire to have a proper spirit with us at all times, we must choose to refrain from becoming angry. I testify that such is possible."
